The role involves spending 70-80% of time building, testing, and shipping code and configurations for automations and AI-powered agents on HubSpot's platform, acting as the primary GTM Engineering partner for a specific business motion. The remaining time is dedicated to partnering with stakeholders to define problems, quantify impact, and shape engineering solutions through iterative POCs and MVPs.
Candidates must have 3+ years of hands-on engineering or builder experience, proficiency in Python, SQL, and working with APIs, and a track record of shipping AI/agent features or strong interest in applying AI in workflows. A strong owner mindset, bias for small, safe changes, and the ability to collaborate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences are also essential.
